Editorial Board Members for the FFHD and BCHD

Position Description: The Journal of Functional Foods in Health and Disease currently has an opening available for the position of Associate Editor. We are looking for someone (scientist or medical doctor) who is a qualified expert in the field of functional food science, nutrition, bioactive compounds, Nutrigenomics, and other related fields. This opening requires that the individual be excellent in English and the associated skills of writing, editing, grammar/syntax, and be well versed in biological/medical terminology. Although this is an unpaid position, the selected individual will be privy to a number of benefits such as official acceptance onto our editorial board, the opportunity to have their own research articles published in our journal free of charge, and be eligible to receive expert references from accomplished scientists.

Food Industry Liaison

Position Description: Functional Food Center is looking for individuals who can help to grow our business worldwide.  We are looking for people who are currently a part of the food industry, and who are well connected via multiple networking mediums. Those who are chosen to fill this position will have the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere in the world, and connect to industry representatives in their immediate local areas. Food Industry Liaisons will be required to:

  • Advertise upcoming conferences by recruiting presenters and attendees
  • Develop and follow through on leads for potential sponsorships and ad placement at conferences, in newsletters, and on our website
  • Sell and place our educational material in stores
  • Recruit food industry representatives interested in learning how to create healthy functional foods
  • Find ways to assimilate current products into big markets by researching company potential in your area

This is a commission-based position, and liaisons will have the opportunity to determine their own pay based on performance. As the opportunity is open to all food industries in every country and city, liaisons with existing connections will be the most ideal candidates for this opportunity. We are looking for people who are creative, self-motivated, dependable, and highly driven to work in independent environments.

Liaison to Academic Universities and Research Institutions

Position Description: The Journal of Functional Foods in Health and Disease currently has openings for individuals who can help to promote our company worldwide. We are looking for qualified people who are able to network amongst academic Universities and research institutions in their local areas, and who are well connected via multiple channels. Those who are chosen to fill this position will have the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere in the world. The individuals will be required to:

  • Advertise upcoming conferences by recruiting highly qualified presenters and attendees from local institutions through the student, scientist, and professor populations
  • Develop and follow through on leads for potential sponsorships and ad placement at conferences, in newsletters, and on our website
  • Promote our educational material in libraries and local bookstores
  • Recruit research representatives interested in learning how to create healthy functional foods
  • Recruit professors and scientists to submit articles and research for publication in our academic journals and books
  • Find new research developmental collaboration opportunities
  • Place upcoming events in the academic calendars of local universities

This is a commission-based position, and liaisons will have the opportunity to determine their own pay based on performance. As the opportunity is open to all qualified individuals in every country and city, liaisons with existing connections will be the most ideal candidates for this opportunity. We are looking for people who are creative, self-motivated, dependable, and highly driven to work in independent environments. In addition, successful liaisons will have the opportunity to be granted a place on our organizing committee for our upcoming conference, receive certificates and recommendation letters from accomplished and well known scientists in the field of functional foods, as well as gain additional membership benefits.

Position Description: Functional Food Center currently has openings for individuals who can help to promote our company worldwide.  We are looking for qualified people who are able to network among different sectors of the medical industry located in their local areas, and who are well connected via multiple channels. Those who are chosen to fill this position will have the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere in the world. The individuals will be required to:

  • Advertise upcoming conferences by recruiting highly qualified presenters and attendees from local medical industries
  • Develop and follow through on leads for potential sponsorships and ad placement at conferences, in newsletters, and on our website
  • Promote our educational material
  • Recruit research representatives interested in learning how to create healthy functional foods
  • Find new research developmental collaboration opportunities
