The occurrence of COVID-19 has solidified our understanding of the body's need for a strong immune system and prevention/management of chronic disease to reduce risk viral diseases, such as COVID-19. Thus, during this conference, we will be exploring the question "Can Functional Foods and Bioactive Compounds Reduce the Risk of Chronic and Viral Diseases?”

New Textbook Announcement!
We are now accepting abstracts for those interested in writing a chapter for the next book in our Functional Food textbook series: Functional Foods and Healthy Aging.
We have extended the deadline to submit an abstract to January 16th, 2021
If you are interested in writing a chapter on the role of a functional food or bioactive compound in healthy aging, please complete the following tasks in this order:
a. Send an email to: firstname.lastname@example.org requesting a sample example of a book chapter. Once we send you the chapter sample, please take the time to review it.
b. Afterwards, submit an abstract of your chapter by January 16th, 2021.
c. Once your abstract has been accepted, submit your final, completed chapter draft by March 12th, 2021.
